Barcelona are ready to sell their forward Ousmane Dembele to Liverpool during the summer transfer window – as per reports.

Ousmane Dembele joined Barcelona in the summer of 2017 from Bundesliga side Borussia Dortmund for a transfer fee of €150 million but since then the youngster has endured a tough time at the Camp Nou.

The 20-year-old suffered a hamstring injury on his debut for the Catalans which kept him out of action until January.

And ever since he returned to the pitch the forward has not been able to make the same sort of impact as he did during his time at BVB.

Dembele has managed to make only 16 appearances in the La Liga this season and according to a report in the El Gol Digital, Barcelona are open to plans of selling him during the summer.

This bit of news though could be very bad news for Manchester United as the report claims that Barca are putting Dembele up for sale because they are eager to bring Antoine Griezmann on board.

Rumours have been ripe that Griezmann has already agreed in principle to join Barcelona next season but recently the French International rubbished such rumours which reignited the hope of Manchester United manager Jose Mourinho who has been a long-term admirer of the forward.

Now that the La Liga giants are preparing to offload Ousmane Dembele could only mean that they are serious about signing Antoine Griezmann during the summer transfer window.

For Jurgen Klopp though Ousmane Dembele will be a perfect alternative for Philippe Coutinho who left for Barcelona during the January transfer window.
