While BVB have maintained they have no plans of selling the youngster right now but multiple reports claim the German outfit could lose Pulisic during the January transfer window.
A number of top European clubs want to sign the attacking midfielder but he is expected to move to the Premier League whenever he leaves BVB.
Up until now, Liverpool were the slight favourites to sign the player but now Chelsea have something that Dortmund want – putting the Stamford Bridge outfit in the driver’s seat.
According to a report in The Telegraph, Borussia Dortmund are ready to sell off Christian Pulisic but they want to sign Thorgan Hazard – the brother of Eden Hazard.
Hazard Jr is currently playing at Borussia Monchengladbach after Chelsea decided to offload him in 2015. And now the other Hazard is getting the Bundesliga on fire.
Thorgan Hazard has already scored eight goals and provided five assists in the 13 games that he has played for Monchengladbach this season.
And BVB reportedly want the Belgium International as a replacement for Christian Pulisic if the American does decide to leave the club next year.
Chelsea reportedly have a buy-back clause on Thorgan Hazard’s contract meaning if they really want Pulisic they could go the cheeky way and buy back Thorgan Hazard to force BVB into selling Pulisic to them.
This though is a far-fetched dream and Liverpool still remain strong contenders for the attacking midfielder.
Pulisic has received very little game time this season due to the rise of Jadon Sancho and this could very well serve as a catalyst for him moving out of Germany.
