Manchester City might have had great success in the Premier League over the past decade but most of that has been based on top players which the club have purchased from outside.

The club’s academy is currently one of the tops in England but not many youngsters have really made it to the first team.

All that though is surely about to change thanks to youngster Phil Foden.

Phil Foden is widely regarded as the best youngster in England right now and the 18-year-old has been tipped for greatness – for both club and country.

Even Pep Guardiola knows what a special talent this boy is as a result of which he refused to let him go out on loan during the summer transfer window telling everyone the midfielder had a part to play this season.

This statement is yet to come true as Phil Foden has not gotten much game time but the 18-year-old is confident his time will come.

And now the midfielder is in the news, not because of his heroics on the pitch but because of his splurging off it.

According to reports, Phil Foden has brought a new home in Manchester for his parents which costs a monstrous £2 million.

The property is located in the Bramhall area of Stockport and Foden has even taken out a mortgage for it.

At the tender of eighteen, Phil Foden is already spending millions of dollars even before he becomes a regular for Manchester City.

But most of the credit for buying the new house should go to his club who have offered him a pretty lucrative contract so that other clubs do not try and eat into his mind.

Pep Guardiola too has expressed his disappointment at not giving too much game time to Phil Foden but the manager is happy that the youngster is taking it as constructive criticism.
