Arsenal take on Southampton at home on Sunday and in all fairness, this game holds very less importance for the London based outfit.

Arsenal are currently sixth on the Premier League table – 16 points behind the fourth-placed Tottenham Hotspur having played one game less. So clearly a qualification to the Champions League next season via the top four is nothing short of a dream for Arsene Wenger.

Now the club’s only chance of getting back amongst the big boys is to win the Europa League this campaign and ensure a direct qualification.

Arsenal take on CSKA Moscow in the second leg of the quarterfinals of the Europa League this Thursday and with a 4-1 lead from the first leg, the Emirates outfit have one leg in the semi-finals of the tournament.

Here’s Arsenal’s confirmed line up vs Southampton:

Goalkeeper: Petr Cech

Defence: Hector Bellerin, Mustafi, Chambers, Kolasinac

Midfield: Elneny, Xhaka, Iwobi

Attack: Pierre Emerick Aubameyang, Welbeck, Nelson

Arsenal have won two out of the past three meeting between the teams in the Premier League but the Gunners were held to a 1-1 draw in the return fixture at St. Mary’s in December.
