England outclassed Sweden in the quarterfinal of the World Cup and will now play their first semi-final since 1990.

After Saturday’s win, the whole of England has been in a celebratory mood – not just within the country but all over the world.

But a shocking video has emerged during the weekend which shows the brutality of the Spanish police towards a group of English fans who were celebrating their team’s win over Sweden.




The said incident took place in Benidorm Spain and the disturbing video shows a police lashing out at a couple of England fans which including a child.

The video has sent shock waves across the British media and it has been the centre of debate amongst the fans on social media.




Some reports have also claimed that the police had also resorted to firing rubber bullets at one point.








A few reports have also claimed that the police assaulted the fans because they were being goaded – though such reports cannot be confirmed.

But this incident in Benidorm is not a surprise as the Spanish city has been in full lockdown mode after three men which included one British man, were shot at a nightclub.




The Spanish have claimed that the men were caught in a crossfire and since that they there has been a palpable tension in Benidorm.

While the Spanish police decided to control the situation with strictness, back in England scenes were a bit different as multiple public as well as private property was damaged during wild celebrations after the Three Lions’ quarterfinal victory.
