Arsenal appointed Unai Emery as their new manager earlier on during the summer and his first competitive game since taking charge of the club will be against Manchester City this Sunday.
The Gunners welcome the defending champions at the Emirates and Emery will be looking to make a statement of intent by picking up all three points against Pep Guardiola’s side.
But everyone knows that it is much easier said than done especially with the fact that a number of new signings will be making their debut on Sunday.
Apart from the new players one major setback for Unai Emery was the potential absence of midfielder Aaron Ramsey who picked up an injury during pre-season.
Ramsey pulled out of the friendly against Chelsea in Dublin last week with a last-minute calf strain and the Welsh International was also not a part of Arsenal’s final friendly against Lazio.
And this had raised serious doubt over his participation during the Man City clash as many publications had gone on to claim that the midfielder might be ruled out due to the injury.
But now reports are suggesting that Aaron Ramsey has recovered from his injury and was involved in a full training session.

The return of Aaron Ramsey to full fitness is certainly good news for the Gunners fans but Unai Emery has another major headache in the left-back area.
Sead Kolasinac has been ruled out with a long-term injury and even Nacho Monreal will be unavailable on Sunday which means that Maitland-Niles might feature as a left-back against Manchester City.
And with Riyad Mahrez set to be deployed on that side of the pitch, the Gunners might need to add some extra protection on that side of the pitch.
Aaron Ramsey was scheduled to move out of the club after the player entered the final 12 months of his contract with the club. But latest reports suggest that the midfielder will not be sold off as the Gunners are confident that he will put pen on paper to a new deal.
