The quartet of Granit Xhaka, Stephan Lichtsteiner, Sokratis and Danny Welbeck will all face late fitness tests before the game in order to determine if they are available for selection.
The manager has revealed that the quartet have not trained with the first team before the Newcastle game will is certainly not a good sign in terms of them making to the team.
While the severity of the injuries is not known but reports are suggesting nothing is too serious and most of them will make it to the first team line-up.
