Manchester United lost their second game of the new season 3-2 to Brighton and Hove Albion away from home.
And with that loss, the fans got to see the same Man United that dragged themselves through the previous season.
The Red Devils went 2-0 behind early on in the first half but Romelu Lukaku pulled one back and Mourinho’s men looked all ready for a fight. But then Eric Bailly gave away a rash penalty through which Brighton made it 3-1.
Man United did score a goal from the penalty spot during the second half of injury time but that did very little to affect the fate of the game.
And after the match, the fans have torn into almost every player who played the game plus the manager and Ed Woodward.
But while Jose Mourinho is trying hard to defend his team and the players but one bit of stat clearly shows just how poor Manchester United were against Brighton.
According to Squawka, forwards Anthony Martial and Romelu Lukaku failed to exchange a single pass during the whole 60 minutes while both of them were together on the pitch.

It's not clicking for United in the final third. 😐 pic.twitter.com/dvQnnLPq6M

This clearly outlined that the eleven players on the pitch have not been jelling together as one unit and when this same question was asked to Jose Mourinho after the match, he fumed with rage and behaved rudely with the reporter.
With their spirits seriously dented, United now must find a way to get back up since they take on Tottenham Hotspur at home next week. And if they perform similarly to what they did today then Harry Kane and co will surely rip them apart at Old Trafford.
