Rangers FC brought Jamie Murphy to Ibrox on a loan from Brighton in the January transfer window and certainly, he has succeeded in impressing everyone in the Scottish Premiership. Murphy used to play for Motherwell FC and had his career’s most club appearances for them only.

Murphy as a young player started his senior career in 2006 with Motherwell, where he had 34 goals in 175 appearances. Then he moved to Sheffield United in 2013 and appeared in 99 matches in their jersey scoring 17 goals.

He again changed his club in 2015 and moved to Brighton & Hove Albion FC, having 8 goals in 76 appearances.

He then came to Ibrox on a loan this seasons and showed his impressive skills.

The 28-year-old is enjoying his days with Rangers FC and does want to play more with them.

During word exchange with Daily Record, Murphy said: “I expect to be here next season, absolutely. I’m already a Rangers player in my mind.”

Rangers FC Graeme Murty is impressed by him and does want him in the squad permanently.

The Gers have prepared a transfer bid of £1.4 million for him and have already started looking for a bargain. Murphy at his best is one of the brightest talents in Scotland, his natural ability and creative talents add so much to a squad.

If the recent Old Firm Derby is anything to go by, supporters should look forward to a burgeoning partnership with the rampaging Declan John down the Rangers left wing.
