A couple of seasons back Old Trafford was undoubtedly one of the best football stadiums in England and teams would dread coming to play there as many claimed that the fans acted as an extra man for the home team.

But for the past couple of seasons now, the atmosphere at the Theatre of Dreams has been restrained a lot and many teams come and play without any fear.

The fans have become less vocal and even in a high profile game, the excitement levels are not at its peak.

Now though, the Manchester United management have noticed this and have conjured a plan to revive the atmosphere at Old Trafford.

According to a report in the Times, the club will create song sheets containing the words to all the most popular chants, which would be distributed to fans on their way into the ground.

Now, this is something that is very unlike a big club.

At one point in time, Old Trafford was buzzing with excitement even when Manchester United played against a smaller opposition.

But now the fans have become so bored with the type of football their team is playing that the management are planning to take concrete steps in order to pick up the excitement levels.
