Is David De Gea really moving out of Manchester United next summer?
De Gea has been at Old Trafford for eight seasons now but his performances have not been world class this season.
Add to that the fact that his contract expires at the end of the season and rumours of his exit are in overdrive.
While Manchester United are confident that the Spaniard will sign a new deal at the club but the keeper has claimed that he not thinking of a new deal at the moment.
And now reports are suggesting that David De Gea’s agent Jorge Mendes is eager to take his client out of Old Trafford next season.
As per an Italian publication, Mendes has held talks with Juventus sporting director Fabio Paratici as the Turin based outfit are eager to sign him.
Juve currently have former Arsenal keeper Wojciech Szczęsny as their number one but reports suggest that the Italian clubs have shortlisted David De Gea as the long-term replacement to Buffon.
David De Gea has been Man United’s top performer during the past couple of seasons but this year his performance has deteriorated – so much so that he is on the verge of losing his Spain spot to Kepa Arrizabalaga.
De Gea has only managed to win one Premier League title during his stay at Man United meaning he will be hungry for trophies.
And the way Jose Mourinho’s men are performing, there’s no guarantee when the Red Devils might win the league.
