FIFA planning to strip Qatar as the 2022 World Cup hosts: Which country is next in line?

England could very well host the 2022 World Cup as FIFA are now thinking of stripping of Qatar as the host nation.

A lot of questions have been raised regarding both the 2018 and the 2022 World Cup hosting countries. While the Russia World Cup is right at the doorstep, but FIFA are trying to make things right for the 2022 World Cup.

Numerous deaths have occurred in Qatar related to the venues of the tournament and many groups have complained that the country is practising modern-day slavery to ensure the completion of the venues and its related facilities.

A lot of criticism has also surfaced about the soaring temperatures at Qatar during which the tournament is scheduled to be held.

Now according to a report in German news outlet Online Focus, whose source is the Saudi Arabian sports minister Turki Al-Sheikh, FIFA are willing to reconsider a change in the venue for the 2022 World Cup.

As per the report, FIFA personnel are planning to meet during the summer in order to look into this matter where they can very well decide on a change of venue with England and the United States being the next best alternatives.

But the decision will be made public only after the World Cup in Russia.
