Liverpool lost to Real Madrid 3-1 in the Champions League final on Saturday in Kiev as the Merseyside outfit were undone by a clinical performance.

Liverpool though had a lot of things that did not go their way and the first blow they suffered was the injury to Ma Salah right after the 30-minute mark which saw the Egyptian taken off the pitch.

Then came the two jaw-dropping errors from Liverpool keeper Karius both of which resulted in goals.

And finally, add to all this the brilliant overhead goal scored by Gareth Bale.

All in all, Liverpool did not have a pleasant outing in Kiev and some of the people who were most happy with the result were Man United fans – for obvious reasons.

Ever since the final whistle was blown on Saturday the Liverpool players and fans have been the subject of countless jokes and troll mostly from United fans.

But one of the first persons to mock Liverpool was none other than former United player and current pundit Gary Neville.

Neville had his own take on Liverpool’s “Allez, Allez, Allez” song in which he praises Gareth Bale and also talks about United’s treble-winning campaign.

And oh yes, he also mentioned that Bale made Liverpool look like d****

Neville tweeted: As promised mate

They thought they’d conquered Europe

Celebrating six

Thank You, Gareth Bale,

Made them look like [email protected]@@@

The Twenty Sixth of May

Always in our heart

United won the Treble

The scousers fell apart

Allez Allez Allez”

Just in case you are wondering, here’s the original lyrics:

“We’ve conquered all of Europe.

“We’re never gonna stop.

“From Paris down to Turkey.

“We’ve won the f*cking lot.

“Bob Paisley and Bill Shankley.

“The fields of Anfield Road.

“We are loyal supporters.

The tweet went viral as soon as it was published and while all the United fans backed up their legend a large section of the Twitterati were not too pleased with it especially since Neville is now a football pundit.
