With each passing day, Arsenal are realizing what a blunder they have made with Aaron Ramsey.

Ramsey has reportedly agreed on a deal to join Juventus next summer meaning the Gunners will not get a single penny from the midfielder’s move.

Moreover, the club will have to spend money out of their own pockets in order to bring in a replacement.

Yesterday we had heard rumours that the club were willing to sell off Aaron Ramsey to Juventus this very month in exchange of 22 million euros but the Italian side had rejected the offer.

Juve are more than happy to wait until the end of the season and now it seems that the Gunners have shifted to plan B.

One of the main targets for Unai Emery this month was to bring in a new central defender this month due to the numerous injuries sustained by his current defenders and now it seems, the Arsenal boss is looking at Juventus for inspiration.

Some reports suggest that Arsenal are close to signing Denis Suarez from Barcelona and when the Barcelona man arrives, Emery will have no use of Aaron Ramsey.

And hence, the manager is willing to offer Aaron Ramsey to Juventus this month in a swap deal for defender Medhi Benatia.

Benatia joined Juventus in 2017 but the centre-back has failed to nail down a first-team spot this season.

So far Benatia has played in just five Serie A games for the Turin outfit and Allegri theoretically has no use of him.

Juventus had backed away from signing Aaron Ramsey this month since Arsenal were demanding money in exchange. But now that Unai Emery is interested in one of their fringe players, Juve might very well opt to bring in Ramsey and in turn, send Medhi Benatia the other way.
