Jurgen Klopp took charge of Liverpool in 2015 and in just four years, the German manager has turned the club into a European powerhouse(once again).

During the 2017-18 season, they came agonisingly close to winning the Champions League only to be beaten by Real Madrid in the final. But this time around they ensured that there was not a repeat as they took out Spurs in the final to become the champions of Europe.

And next season, Jurgen Klopp will be aiming to clinch the Premier League title.

Jurgen Klopp is under contract at Liverpool until 2022 but his agent Marc Kosicke has revealed that the Reds are already eager to make him sign a contract extension.

“Liverpool would even like to extend it,” Kosicke said(as reported).

“[Jurgen] felt again at the recent celebrations [after winning the Champions League], what a great club Liverpool is, and that he is in the right place at the right time.

“Jurgen is currently not affordable. But it is difficult to measure the transfer fee in his case anyway.

“How is this going to work for a coach who has increased the club’s value from nearly £900 million to just under £2.8 billion? That is not how it works.”

Jurgen Klopp obviously loves the life at Anfield but there are serious doubts whether the manager will put pen on paper to a new deal since some rumours claim that once his contract with Liverpool expires, he might want to take a break from managing.

But in that very same interview, Marc Kosicke also added that Jurgen Klopp might just want to manage the German national team in case Joachim Low chooses to discontinue.

“Jurgen himself once said that in the event that Joachim Low someday no longer wants to be the national coach and it would be possible for him do that [job], this is an option for him,”

The German national team is a bit of a far-fetched dream but some experts believe that another good season at Liverpool and Bayern Munich might once again try to sign Jurgen Klopp as their manager next summer.
