Arsenal FC want Adama Traore
Emirates Stadium Arsenal

Arsenal beat Man United at the Emirates this weekend courtesy of goals from Granit Xhaka and a second-half penalty from Aubameyang.

The Gunners recently suffered an embarrassing defeat at the hands of Rennes in the Europa League so this win vs Man United made the game even more special.

And not to mention the fact that Arsenal have now moved over Man United to sit on the fourth spot on the league table.

One Arsenal fan became so enraptured that he chose to invade the pitch after Aubameyang scored the second goal and in the heat of the moment the man chose to push United defender Chris Smalling.

This is not the first time that the Arsenal home crowd have been caught behaving badly but the Gunners along with the Met Police chose to take swift action.

The pitch invader was immediately arrested following which the Metropolitan Police released a statement which read:

“A man has been arrested on suspicion of common assault and pitch invasion following an incident during the Arsenal v Man Utd game at the Emirates Stadium today.

“He is currently in custody at a north London police station.”

Arsenal have also chosen to take strict action against this fan and the club have confirmed that he will be banned from future games.

“We utterly condemn the behaviour of the individual who ran onto the pitch and approached Chris Smalling during today’s match,” a statement from the club read.

“We would like to apologise to Chris and Manchester United and are pleased that the individual was apprehended and arrested. We will be working closely with the Metropolitan Police in their investigation.

“The individual will also be banned from Arsenal matches home and away. Our matchday staff receive ongoing training on managing incidents such as this.”
