Man United will take on Leicester City in the English Premier League this weekend and right now Solskjaer is one nervous manager.
United have so far managed to pick up just a single win in the league and that also come during the opening weekend of the season vs Chelsea. Since then they have continuously dropped points and many believe a repeat of that would happen this upcoming weekend.
Leicester City are currently third on the league table and apart from Man City and Liverpool, they are the only other side who are yet to taste defeat this season.
And now the hopes of the Foxes fans will go up even higher since Man United might be without a series of their first-team players.
Going into this international break, a number of United players picked up knocks and the club have now hinted that some of them might not be fit in time to face the Foxes.
The Old Trafford outfit released a statement earlier this week saying that the manager will update on player injuries later this week.
The statement read(as published on the club’s official website): “Ole will address the media in his weekly press conference and should provide an update on the fitness of a number of United players.
“Pogba, Shaw, Aaron Wan-Bissaka, Jesse Lingard and Anthony Martial were all forced to miss their national side’s games over the break, and Ole will, no doubt, be quizzed on the chances of them featuring against Leicester.
“The press conference will be broadcast that morning by MUTV, so make sure to tune in for the latest updates from the boss.”
And after this statement, many people feel that the worst is going to happen when Leicester City visit Old Trafford on Saturday.
In the absence of players like Wan-Bissaka and Martial, the manager might have to field players like Ashley Young and Mason Greenwood which surely will raise a lot of doubts regarding the Man United starting line-up.
