Manchester United parted ways with Jose Mourinho in December last year and since then, the Portuguese has been without a job.
Jose Mourinho has since been linked with a number of jobs but till now nothing concrete has materialized.
It was reported that he will be going back to Portugal to manage one of the teams from his home country and then some rumours suggested that Mourinho might return back to manage Chelsea for the third time.
Now though, it has been confirmed that Jose Mourinho will not be managing a club – not atleast this season.
Instead, the manager is going to get his own show on a Russian television channel.
Earlier this week, it was confirmed that Jose Mourinho will be part of a show called “On the touchline with Jose Mourinho” will provide coverage of the UEFA Champions League from March.
Jose Mourinho will be analysing the Champions League games for the Russian network and in a promotional video, he said: “I’m going to talk about football on RT. What else did you think I was going to do?”
And on the very first episode of Jose Mourinho’s show, Man United will be heading to Paris in order to take on PSG in the second leg of the Round of 16 of the Champions League.
This will surely not be good news for the Man United fans since they know very well that a poor performance on the night and the Portuguese will be ready to strip the team down.
But some pundits claim that Jose Mourinho will remain highly professional and will provide an unbiased analysis of each and every game.
Let’s wait and watch.
