Mesut Ozil will be on his way out Arsenal during the summer transfer window – as per reports.
Ozil signed a contract extension in February of last year but this season the German has fallen out of favour under new boss Unai Emery.
Mesut Ozil has so far played just 18 appearances this season scoring four goals and providing just two assists.
And the playmaker was supposed to leave the club during the January transfer window.
Somehow though the club could not make a transfer happen but now it looks like Mesut Ozil could be on his way to Italy during the summer.
Reports suggest that Arsenal have offered the playmaker to Serie A club Inter Milan who are interested in the German.
Inter Milan had shown an interest in signing Mesut Ozil last year but they eventually pulled the plug due to the high asking price from Arsenal.
But now that Arsenal have themselves offered the player to Inter it might be possible that the Gunners have agreed to reduce the asking price for him.
Mesut Ozil is currently the highest earning player at the club and as things stand the Gunners are paying him a truckload of money to warm the substitutes bench.
And some fans have decided to call out the management over their handling of the player as they claim the club should have tried to offload Mesut Ozil in January so that they could have freed up some funds.
