Liverpool have moved into the quarter-finals of the Champions League after beating Bayern Munich at the Allianz Arena earlier this weekend.
The first leg which was played at Anfield ended in a 0-0 draw but Jurgen Klopp chose to go ultra positive during the second leg and the result is for all to see.
Liverpool came from the second leg, 3-1 winner courtesy of goals from Sadio Mane and Virgil Van Dijk and each and every piece fell nicely into place for Jurgen Klopp.
And now as the Premier League outfit wait to find out their opponents for the next round, goalkeeper Alisson Becker has come out to claim that it is Jurgen Klopp who could actually help the team win the Champions League this season.
“Klopp is a manager who knows football very well, he is one of the best managers out there, he always reaches finals, he has two with Borussia and Liverpool, he also reached a Europa League final,” Alisson said.
“As a person, he has a different relationship with players. We trust him and he trusts our quality.
“This Liverpool side is always ready for the battle and that’s important for a club that want to win the Champions League.”
Last season, Jurgen Klopp and his men came agonisingly close to winning the Champions League but that injury to Mo Salah during the finals ruined everything for them.
But his time around, Jurgen Klopp has made sure that the team is not overdependent on Mo Salah.
