Rangers FC are planning to let winger Joe Dodoo leave the club during the current transfer window – as per reports.

Joe Dodoo is a youth product of the Leicester City academy and he joined the Ibrox outfit on a free transfer back in 2016.

But the 24-year-old is yet to make an impact at the club having spent the previous season out on loan to English side Blackpool.

For The Tangerines, Joe Dodoo managed to play in 25 games across all competitions and he went on to score 6 goals and provide 4 assists.

In fact, The 24-year-old has made just 27 appearances for the Light Blues over the last three which just goes on to show that he has had no value at the club.

And with his loan deal expiring at the end of the 2018-19 season, the winger had returned back to Ibrox with the hopes that he will feature in Steven Gerrard’s plans next campaign.

Now though reports are claiming that Joe Dodoo is of no use to Gerrard and the manager has made plans to offload him before the summer transfer window shuts down.

The 24-year-old predominantly plays down the left wing which is the main reason why the Rangers boss has agreed to let him leave the club since he already has the likes of Jamie Murphy, Jordan Jones, Brandon Barker and Jake Hastie who all operate down the left-hand side of the pitch.

As per TransferMarkt, Joe Dodoo is currently valued at €250,000 but the club might have to sell him off for much lower than that since he has only a year left on his current deal.

Right now no major clubs have shown interest in signing Joe Dodoo this summer but now that Rangers have officially put him up for sale, surely some club will make a move to take him out of Ibrox before the end of the month.
