Steven Gerrard has been trying to bring back Ryan Kent on a loan deal from Liverpool but Jurgen Klopp is taking pretty long to make his decision.
Last season, Ryan Kent was easily the finest youngster in the Scottish Premiership which is why the Gers boss is so eager to re-sign him.
And now speaking about the transfer, Gerrard has made it clear that he is more than happy to wait until the final day of the transfer window to bring Ryan Kent on board for the 2019-20 season.
Gerrard said: “Am I willing to wait until the last day of the window for Kent? I’m willing to wait until the last second.
“I’ll give it to the very last second to get Ryan back here.
“He’s an exception because he was outstanding last year.
“I feel he’s ready to go again, with the confidence he should have from last season.
“But we’re still talking about a player who belongs to Liverpool. They’ll make the decision on him and we’ll be totally respectful to the club and Jurgen Klopp.
“Everyone knows I want him back and I’ll give it until the last second. But if it doesn’t happen, it doesn’t happen.
“I haven’t spoken to him for a while, so we’ll wait patiently to see if he wants to come back and respect Liverpool’s decision.”
Ryan Kent is currently an active part of Liverpool’s pre-season training camp and recent reports have suggested that Leeds United are back in the race to sign the winger on loan.
While Rangers are obviously first in line to bring back the youngster but the whole transfer depends on Jurgen Klopp and Ryan Kent’s worth to him.
