Wilfried Zaha was a key player for Palace last season and it is highly that the winger will move out of Selhurst Park this transfer window.
Arsenal though aren’t the only club interested in signing him with recent reports suggesting that Everton have made an enquiry about the player.
But the Gunners have always been deemed the favourites with the player’s brother claiming that joining Unai Emery’s side would be a dream move for Wilfried Zaha.
Zaha’ brother Judicael told Sky Sports News: “Wilfried will always hold Crystal Palace and their fans in the highest regard and all the support they have given means the world to him.
“It’s my brother’s dream though, to play for Arsenal.
“Given all that Wilfried has given to Crystal Palace to help them remain a Premier League club, I hope Palace will be able to see their way to agreeing on a deal with Arsenal that allows Wilfried to realise his dream of playing European Football for the club he’s supported since childhood.”
But it seems Arsenal are finding it really hard to gather the £80 million asking price that Crystal Palace have set and now Chelsea seemed to have leap-frogged over their London rivals.
The Daily Telegraph are reporting that Chelsea are planning to make a bid for Wilfried Zaha and with the kind of money they have, the Blues shouldn’t have any problems paying the price tag.
The report suggests: “Telegraph Sport understands that Chelsea are weighing up a bid for Zaha that would take him to Stamford Bridge once the club have served their transfer ban.
“Chelsea are currently serving their two-window ban and cannot sign players this summer. They have lodged an appeal to the Court of Arbitration for Sport, but the fear remains they will also be prevented from making any new signings in January.”
