The Old Firm Derby will be the first major clash that Neil Lennon would be part of ever since he took charge of Celtic a couple of weeks ago.
After Brendan Rodgers left for Leicester City, Neil Lennon has been appointed as the interim boss at Celtic Park in order to hold the ship and steer the club to yet another Premiership title.
Right now, the Bhoys are ten points clear at the top of the table and theoretically, a loss vs Rangers would do very little to hamper their title hopes.
But the last thing that Celtic would want is to lose to their cross-town rivals.
And speaking before the game, Hoops captain Scott Brown has claimed that Neil Lennon has inspired the whole dressing room.
“We have a lot of records going about right now that we’re still going for, and we need to make sure we maintain our positive play of good attractive football while also winning the battle when we need to,” said Brown.
“We have some great players in that dressing room so there’ll be some great players on the pitch and on the bench. We have a fantastic squad and we believe in ourselves.
“It’s been great to have Neil back,
“He’s been fantastic for the last four or five games. He’s spurred the lads on in the dressing room. He’s happy to be back. He loves it.
“The passion he has for Celtic and football is brilliant and it’s showing out there on the field as well.
“He believes in his own ability to manage this club. He’s done it before and run it very smoothly. He knows it’s very emotional.
“He knows anything can happen in a football match, but he believes in us and we believe in him so we feel we can win every game.
“We have a great record at Celtic Park and we need to maintain that.”
