Manchester United keeper David De Gea has been a great servant to the club for a number of seasons now but it finally looks like the Spaniard might be on his way out.
When Man United signing David De Gea, it was almost certain that the lean Spaniard would be a failure at the club.
But since then, he has proved everyone wrong and turned himself into one of the best keepers in world football.
This season though, his graph has taken a dip – firstly with Spain in the World Cup and then with Man United during the 2018-19 campaign.
And now that the shot-stopper is set to enter the final year of his contract, United are scampering to make him sign a new contract.
The Old Trafford outfit have tabled a number of offers but till date, David De Gea has rejected all of them with reports claiming that he wants more money.
At a time when the club are trying hard to cut down on wages, it is being suggested that Man United will not cave in the Spaniard’s demands and might allow him to leave this summer.
Right now, the latest reports have suggested that David De Gea has rejected the final offer from Man United as he is now interested in joining PSG during the summer.
PSG are willing to offer around £60 million for the keeper which is a great amount considering that David De Gea is about to enter the final year of his contract.
If Man United fail to sell off David De Gea this summer then they will risk losing him for free next year and a player of his calibre will have no shortage of takers.
Another big reason why Man United are fighting hard to come to a conclusion this year is because once he is a free agent, De Gea is allowed to join any club and the last thing the Red Devils would want is to see one of the best keepers in Europe play for a direct rival.
