Chelsea beat Nottingham Forest in the FA Cup third round this past week and next up they take on Burnley at Stamford Bridge in the Premier League.

The Blues’ previous league encounter ended in a 1-1 draw vs Brighton so Lampard’s men will surely want to get things back on track by picking up a win vs Burnley.

Chelsea are currently 4th on the league table with 36 points, just five points ahead of fifth-placed Manchester United which means that if the London outfit fails to pick up a win this weekend then they will have to seriously start worrying about their Champions League hopes for the next campaign.

Chelsea team news vs Burnley:

Tomori was partnered by Christensen during the Forest game but this weekend, Antonio Rudiger should return back to central defence in Chelsea’s Premier League clash.

Reece James should retain his place in the first XI and we don’t expect Marcos Alonso to play any part since the could be on his way out of the club this month.

So with Alonso unlikely to play, it should be Azpilicueta who will move to left-back on Saturday.

Ross Barkley started in the FA Cup encounter but the England international should move back to the bench in order to make way for N’Golo Kante while Jorginho and Mateo Kovacic are expected to keep their place in central midfield.

Callum Hudson-Odoi is pushing for a place in the first XI for the league games and there is every chance the youngster could feature on the left flank especially since Christian Pulisic has picked up an injury during training a couple of days ago.

Pedro got a rare start vs Forest but the Spaniard will most certainly move to the bench as Willian comes into the side as the right-sided winger.

Tammy Abraham will lead the line as Michy Batshuayi starts on the bench for Chelsea.
