There have been heavy rumours about Paul Pogba moving out of Manchester United at the end of the 2019-20 season and possibly heading back to Juventus. But over the past couple of weeks, it looks like the Frenchman is once again enjoying life at the club.

Paul Pogba seems to have built a formidable partnership with January signing Bruno Fernandes and the duo are easily playing some of the most eye-catching football in the Premier League right now.

Recently, Paul Pogba explained how he and the team are improving with each passing day and why he’s relishing that slightly deeper role in midfield.

“You can tell that the team is improving a lot,” he told the club’s official website.

“We play more as a team than we did before, we enjoy it even more, we defend together, we attack together, and this team is stronger as well.

The players who are on the bench or who don’t play every time, when they come on they help the team so the mentality is good and is right. All this together has put us where we are today.

“From behind I just enjoy it. I’m enjoying just watching Bruno, Rashford, Martial and Mason, who all played the last game, and seeing them score goals. You just keep applauding, it’s beautiful… they make me enjoy football every time!”

And now amidst all the positive results on the pitch, Man United manager, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has hinted that Paul Pogba could sign a new contract at the club this summer.

“I can’t comment on discussions between players and the club but of course we want to keep the best players,” Solskjaer said, as per Sky Sports.

“We want to build a squad for the future and Scott and Nemanja, they’re in similar positions but in different stages of their careers – one at the start and one really experienced one.

“We also need players in that mid-range group so hopefully we can do something. I know that since Paul came back from injury he’s looking better and better. He’s just enjoying his football and let’s see where it takes us.”

A couple of months ago, Pogba clearly wanted to move out of the club but ever since the signing of Bruno Fernandes, the mood at Man United seems to have taken a drastic change.

Right now, we think there are two major things that will convince the Frenchman to sign a new deal at the club.

The first one is obviously Champions League football so if Man United can secure a return to the top division of Europe next season, Pogba should remain at Old Trafford.

Also, if Man United do manage to bring in players like Jack Grealish and Jadon Sancho before the new season begins then Paul Pogba will have a sense of believe that the club is moving in the right direction finally.
