Bayern was on the verge of signing Sane last summer but the untimely injury to the player meant the transfer got delayed.
But now that the German is back to full fitness, Bayern are expected to wrap up the transfer at the end of the current campaign.
And along with Sane, the Bundesliga giants are also trying to launch a bid for Roberto Firmino after the striker has impressed for Liverpool during the past two seasons.
The 28-year-old spent four years at Hoffenheim before securing a £29m move to Liverpool in the summer of 2015.
Last season as well as this campaign, Firmino has been a key part of Liverpool’s attack and Jurgen Klopp surely rates him highly.
In the 2019-20 season, Roberto Firmino has played in 25 league games for the Reds scoring only 8 goals but has chipped in with seven assists as well.
The forward still has two years left on his current deal and given his importance to Liverpool, Bayern Munich will have a really tough time in convincing the player to leave Anfield and head to Germany.
Also, TransferMarkt values the player at €90 million meaning Bayern will have to break the bank to sign him.
But with Lewandowski already 31 years old, if the Bavarians can manage to sign Roberto Firmino next summer then he will be the perfect long-term replacement to the Polish international.
