Liverpool currently have a 22-point gap at the top of the Premier League table and next up they take on Norwich City at Anfield.

Liverpool have won their last 16 matches in the Premier League and they should pick up all three points against the Canaries as well. But having said that, some people feel the Reds could drop points given that they will be returning back from the winter break.

The Anfield outfit have kept a clean sheet in 9 of their last 10 matches in the league and going into this game, Jurgen Klopp has only a handful of injuries to deal with.

Liverpool team news vs Norwich City:

Joe Gomez and Virgil Van Dijk have been the central defensive partnership of choice for Jurgen Klopp and the pair will once again start vs Norwich City while Robertson and Alexander-Arnold play as the full-backs.

Fabinho has returned back to full fitness and started in his favoured defensive midfielder’s role against Southampton before the break and the Brazilian too will reprise his role this weekend.

James Milner is currently sidelined with an injury and chances are the midfielder might not be fit in time to be named in the match-day squad.

Sadio Mane has returned back to training during the winter break and it seems like he will be fully fit and available for selection vs the Canaries.

If Mane is not a 100 per cent then it will be Divock Origi who operates on the left flank.

Xherdan Shaqiri is expected to recover from his injury but we don’t think the Swiss international will get a chance to play in the first XI as Mo Salah will play on the wing.

If Sadio Mane is named in the starting line-up then there’s a slight chance that Roberto Firmino is moved to the bench as Divock Origi gets to start upfront given that Norwich City carry very little threat as they currently sit at the bottom of the league table.

Liverpool’s predicted XI vs Norwich:

Starting XI: Alisson; Van Dijk, Joe Gomez, Alexander-Arnold, Robertson; Fabinho, Henderson, Wijnaldum; Sadio Mane, Mo Salah, Firmino/Origi.
