Manchester United are in the hunt for a new striker after missing out on Erling Haaland and it looks like they have set their sights on Moussa Dembele.
Moussa Dembele has been heavily linked with a move to Chelsea this month since Lampard is eager to bring in reinforcements after the lifting of the transfer ban.
But as per reports, Man United have sent scouts to watch Moussa Dembele in action and it seems like the Old Trafford outfit could make a move for the 23-year-old pretty soon.
Moussa Dembele came into the limelight while he was playing for Celtic and in the summer of 2018 he went on to join Lyon – his current club for a fee of €22.00 million. And this season he seems to have upped his game to another level.

So far during the 2019-20 season, Moussa Dembele has featured in 18 league games for Lyon and has managed to score 10 goals.
And it’s not only Chelsea who have shown interest in the player since Jose Mourinho too is keeping tabs on him after Harry Kane has been ruled out till April with an injury.
Kane has undergone an operation meaning Mourinho has to bring in a new centre-forward this month and some reports in London feel Dembele could be that man.

But now with Man United entering the race things could really heat up but some sources though claim that Lyon are not really interested in selling him off during the middle of the season.
Moussa Dembele is out of contract in 2023 meaning the French club are in no hurry to sell him off as they want to keep their star player atleast until the summer.
Reports have also claimed that Lyon have rejected a 34 million pound bid from Chelsea but we are still to figure out if this rejection was because of the price or because the Ligue 1 outfit aren’t interested in selling him this month.
