The Gunners are in fears of losing Alexandre Lacazette at the end of the season with Barcelona looking to sign him for the upcoming season and it seems like Odsonne Edouard is set to be the Frenchman’s long-term replacement.
Odsonne Edouard joined Celtic from PSG in 2018 and this season the 22-year-old has managed to net 21 goals and provide 12 assists in just 27 league games which are staggering numbers.
And it seems like these flurry of goals have caught the eye of Mikel Arteta and the Gunners boss want to sign Odsonne Edouard in the summer.
Lacazette has been heavily linked with a move to the Camp Nou in the summer and up until now, there were fears that the Gunners might not be able to bring in an apt replacement for the Frenchman.
Now though it seems like Odsonne Edouard could be the perfect solution to all these issues since the 22-year-old has been stellar for Neil Lennon’s side over the past two seasons.

According to TransferMarkt, the forward is currently valued at 15 million euros and given the financial weakness of Scottish clubs, Arsenal can get their hands on the youngster for as little as 30 million euros.
And if the player was to hit it off in the English Premier League then surely it will be a masterstroke from Mikel Arteta.
Another major reason why the Gunners can manage to sign him for a real bargain price is the fact that Odsonne Edouard is out of contract at Celtic in the summer of 2022 meaning the Bhoys could try and cash in on him this summer itself.
It’s still unclear just how strong this interest is right now but we can be sure of one thing, if Alexandre Lacazette was to leave the club in the summer then there’s every chance that Arsenal will make a move for Edouard sooner or later.
