Liverpool, Tottenham Hotspur and Barcelona have all been trying to land Wolves’ 24-year-old winger Adama Traore during the summer transfer window.

And now the Anfield outfit have made sure they are the club that the 24-year-old thinks about once he is looking to move out for greener pastures at the end of the 2019-20 season.

According to a report in Todofichajes, Reds boss Jurgen Klopp has personally contacted Adama Traore in order to lure him into Liverpool.

The report claims: “According to the information we handle at TodoFichajes, Liverpool is negotiating the signing of Adama Traoré with Wolverhampton.

“The Spanish footballer has played his best season as a professional and his name is on the agenda of several greats from the old continent. Jürgen Klopp has recommended the incorporation of the player and has personally telephoned the former Barca youth squad.”

Will Adama Traore move out of Wolves in the summer?

Up until last week, it was being claimed that Wolves are planning to sell off Adama Traore and Raul Jimenez in the summer in order to gather funds for their new arrivals.

But now as per the latest updates, the Wolves hierarchy has asked Nuno Espirito Santo not to put the duo up for sale.

TEAMtalk have revealed: “According to the Daily Mirror, however, Wolves owners Fosun have informed Portuguese coach Nuno that he does not have to cash in on the club’s success over the past two seasons.

“Instead, the manager will be allowed to keep Jimenez and Traore – as well as other top talent such as Ruben Neves and Joao Moutinho – as Wolves press to finish the season in the top four.”

This will surely be a big blow for the likes of Liverpool and Spurs but we think, Adama Traore will himself look to head out of Molineux in the summer.

Liverpool are without a doubt the frontrunners in signing the 24-year-old but at the same time, this will be warning bells for Mo Salah since the Egpytian plays on the same flank as Adama Traore.

During the 2019-20 season, the Wolves winger has featured in 28 Premier League matches, scoring four and assisting seven goals.
