Gareth Bale wrote his name all over the Champions League final on Saturday as he came off the bench as a second-half substitute to score a brace.

His first overhead goal was truly the stuff of dreams while his second came due to a sloppy error from Liverpool keeper Karius.

But despite his heroics in Kyiv the Welshman has claimed he is still uncertain about his future at the club and might move out during the summer transfer window.

Bale told BT Sport: “I need to be playing week in, week out, it hasn’t happened this season for one reason or another. I need to sit down in the summer and discuss things with my agent and take things from there.

“Very disappointed not to start the game. I felt like I deserved it. The best I could do is come on and make an impact and that’s what I did.”

The talks of Gareth Bale leaving Real Madrid has been doing the rounds for quite some time and now the winger has himself claimed that his future at the Bernabeu is far from certain.

This statement will come as a huge boost for a series of Premier League clubs who have harboured interests of bringing the 28-year-old on board.

Manchester United manager Jose Mourinho has been a long-term admirer of Gareth Bale and for the past couple of months, news has emerged that Chelsea are also planning to launch a bid in the summer.

Spurs have also been discussed as a likely destination as some reports have claimed that if the winger heads back to England then he would want to play for Tottenham – the club he left to join Real Madrid.

A big money move to the Chinese League has not also been ruled out but as things stand Bale still has a lot of football left in him so a move to Asia is highly unlikely.
