Now that Neymar has left for PSG, Barcelona are frantically searching for a player who can replace the Brazilian in the first eleven.

Here are the top 3 players from the Premier League who we think can become a suitable replacement for Neymar at Barcelona:

1. Philippe Coutinho:

The first player on our list is already being chased by Barcelona and to such an extent that Jurgen Klopp had to come out and publicly tell the Catalans to save their energy cause Coutinho is going nowhere. According to various reports, Liverpool have already rejected two bids from Barcelona- the latest one being in the region of £89 million. And these bids were before Neymar was about to leave for PSG.

Now that the Brazilian has successfully changed loyalties, rumour has it that Barca are preparing a revised bid for Coutinho which is expected to be around the £120 million mark. So will the Merseyside Reds finally bow down to such a huge sum of money?

2. Eden Hazard:

No sooner did Neymar leave for Paris than Barcelona were being linked to a long list of replacements – and one such player was Eden Hazard. Many tabloids started claiming that the Barcelona management has short-listed the Belgian International to fill in the void created by Neymar and that they will soon be launching a bid for him.

But just like Klopp, Antonio Conte was also quick to gun down any such rumours by saying that the Blues were out in the market to buy players and not to sell them to European rivals.

3. Mesut Ozil:

The first two players that have been mentioned above will under no circumstances come cheap if Barcelona do decide to go for them. But Mesut Ozil, on the other hand, will cost much less than both Hazard and Coutinho, given the fact that the German has less than 12 months left on his contract at the Emirates. And by the looks of it, he will not be signing a new deal with the club. So if Barcelona manage to put forward a somewhat inflated offer then Wenger might just be tempted to sell him off rather than lose him for free next season.

Unlike both Hazard and Coutinho, the 28-year-old has played with the top dogs of Spanish football – having been a Real Madrid player for three seasons.
