Erik ten Hag has started his work at Manchester United and according to multiple reports, players like Aaron Wan-Bissaka, Eric Bailly and Anthony Martial have been put up for sale.

Aaron Wan-Bissaka started the season as the first-choice right-back but under Ralf Rangnick, he’s hardly gotten to play. This previous season, he played only 20 Premier League games and most of it was during the first half of the campaign.

Apparently, Erik ten Hag is not a fan of Aaron Wan-Bissaka and the word seems to have spread because Jose Mourinho’s AS Roma and PL side Crystal Palace have shown an interest in signing him.

According to Gazzetta dello Sport, AS Roma general manager Tiago Pinto is interested in the Manchester United full-back and the Serie A side are ready to pay around €30m.

Wan-Bissaka joined Man United from Palace in 2019 and the Eagles want him back as to look for some defensive reinforcements for the upcoming season.

Will Erik ten Hag allow Wan-Bissaka to leave?

Aaron Wan-Bissaka is a great one-v-one defender but every other aspect of his game is really really poor and since ETH wants proper ball-playing defenders, we don’t see the right-back staying beyond the summer.

Wan-Bissaka can hardly put in crosses and if Man United want to play an attacking brand of football they have to get rid of the 24-year-old as soon as possible. In the 1793 minutes of league football he’s played this season, the 24-year-old hasn’t provided even a single assist.

Also, if Roma is indeed ready to pay around €30m then United should just take the money and allow the right-back to board the next flight to Rome.

Dalot is much closer to what Ten Hag wants in a full-back/wing-back so we think the Dutch manager is going to put his faith in the Portuguese.

Wan-Bissaka to AS Roma or Palace?

We are not yet sure if Roma are serious or not but if they are willing to pay such a sumptuous transfer fee they will surely be at the front of the queue.

However, Palace highly value the full-back and a return to Selhurst Park will make much more sense(if the player which to remain in England). If the Eagles can match Roma’s valuation then they have a chance to sign Wan-Bissaka but apart from that, a move to the Serie A cannot be entirely ruled out.
