Arsenal and Spurs are planning to make a move for Real Madrid full-back Achraf Hakimi at the end of the season – as per the Daily Mail.

Achraf Hakimi is a product of the Los Blancos academy and right now he is out on loan to BVB but is due to return back to Spain this summer.

The 21-year-old joined the German side in 2018 and in these two years, he has turned himself into one of the best right-backs in Europe which is why Zinedine Zidane has no plans in selling him off.

The Real Madrid manager is expected to hold talks with the player pretty soon but some rumours claim Achraf Hakimi will not accept a new offer if he is being considered as a backup to Carvajal for the upcoming season.

And this news has surely given a massive boost to Arsenal and Spurs who are both looking to buy a new right-back during the summer transfer window.

Arsenal’s Hector Bellerin has had an injury-prone season and there’s also a chance the Spaniard could move out in the summer meaning Arteta will need to bring in a possible replacement asap.

Jose Mourinho too has faced a number of issues with Aurier and the Spurs boss also wants Achraf Hakimi as the replacement.

Will Achraf Hakimi choose Arsenal or Spurs?

Achraf Hakimi is without a doubt one of the top full-backs in Europe right now meaning Arsenal and Spurs aren’t the only clubs who are interested in signing him.

The likes of PSG, Juventus and Bayern are also keeping tabs on the youngster while Dortmund too are hoping to make their loan deal permanent at the end of the season.

So naturally, both the London clubs are right now way down the pecking order especially since at this moment they cannot offer Achraf Hakimi the prospect of Champions League football.

And above all, Real Madrid know fully well what a good player the Morroccon is so Zidane will do everything to ensure he remains at the Bernabeu next season.
