Arsenal forward Alexandre Lacazette is not interested in moving to Serie A and join Inter Milan during the upcoming transfer window – as per the Daily Mail.
Inter are about to lose Lautaro Martinez to FC Barcelona and Antonio Conte had so far been looking at the Frenchman to be the long-term replacement for his outgoing star. But clearly, Alexandre Lacazette has other plans in mind.
The report claims: “Arsenal striker Alexandre Lacazette is not interested in signing for Inter Milan despite the club’s attempted swoop, according to reports.
“The European giants had hoped that Lacazette would be a replacement for Barcelona-bound Lautaro Martinez, should the Catalan giants activate his £100million release clause.
“The 29-year-old’s contract at Arsenal runs until 2022, with him being in and out of the side this season. However, Lacazette has made it clear he is ‘not interested’ in making a move to San Siro, according to L’Equipe.”

Alexandre Lacazette has scored seven goals in 20 Premier League matches this season for Arsenal and he still has two years left on his deal. But as per the buzz in London, Mikel Arteta is not eager to hand him a new deal.
The Arsenal boss wants him out and there’s a chance the Frenchman might be looking to join La Liga giants Atletico Madrid next season.
Diego Simeone seems to be really impressed by Alexandre Lacazette and wants the 29-year-old at the club which is why the Gunners might look to use him in a swap deal for Thomas Lemar.
Lemar has clearly failed to impress in Spain and there are rumours that he wishes to join Arsenal – a club that wanted to sign him a couple of seasons ago.
It’s clear Mikel Arteta does not want to hold onto Alexandre Lacazette beyond the summer so one way or the other, the centre-forward is likely to head for the exit in the coming months.
