Arsenal have been linked with an interest in Atletico’s Alvaro Morata and the Spaniard has hinted that he could be on his way out of the club.
The forward spent the previous two years on loan with Juventus but the Old Lady have refused to sign him permanently so he is now heading back to Atletico Madrid in the summer.
At Atletico, his contract will expire in 2023 and the La Liga side have no intention to hold onto him. Simeone will move him on if the right offer comes in and now Alvaro Morata has himself confessed that he is ready for a new challenge.
Morata said via Metro: ‘I have quite a few options. It’s not up to me, I can’t do anything about it.
‘My wife and children will follow me wherever I need to go. I do have preferences and options, but I want to go where the club love me the most and value me.’

The 29-year-old spent two pretty unsuccessful years with Chelsea but there’s a big chance he could be coming back to the Premier League.
Arsenal are obviously interested in signing him but once Atleti put him up for sale, we believe several others sides will queue up as well.

At Juventus, he scored nine goals and provided seven assists in 35 league matches so he’s not completely out of form right now. Also, he’s the perfect age for a striker and he still has three or four years of top-level professional football left in him.
Atletico are willing to part ways with the forward for a fee of around €30 million and this is a price bracket that will entice several other clubs apart from Arsenal.
Should Arsenal take a gamble and sign Alvaro Morata?
Alvaro Morata has played for some of the biggest clubs in Europe but truth be told, he’s never quite peaked as a forward.
He’s been an overall disappointment at almost every club and we think Mikel Arteta should shy away from bringing him on board. During his two seasons with Juve he managed to net only 32 goals in 92 appearances.
Arsenal have held onto Eddie Nketiah but Auba and Lacazette have both left the club so signing a new centre-forward is very much necessary. However, instead of going after someone like Alvaro Morata, Arteta will be much better off putting his bets on Manchester City’s Gabriel Jesus.
