Man United suffered a shock defeat at the hands of Sheffield United in the EPL on Wednesday and forward Anthony Martial came up with another flop show.
The Frenchman has been really underwhelming this season, scoring just two goals in 16 league appearances up until now and after the loss to the Blades, many pundits have once again started to question the forward’s mentality.
Edinson Cavani was rested in midweek meaning Anthony Martial got to start up front vs Sheffield but during the full 90 minutes, he could manage only one shot on target.
And speaking about the forward’s poor performance, Trevor Sinclair has gone on to suggest that Martial might not even enjoy playing football.
“I’m looking at what Anthony Martial has brought to the table,” said Sinclair on talkSPORT. “Has he tried any take-ons today?
“As a winger or number nine you’ve got to have a go and try and express yourself.
“He doesn’t even look like he enjoys football!”
The Man United forward line was overall very poor on Wednesday but players like Mason Greenwood, Marcus Rashford and Cavani(in the second half) at least tried to force the issue.
Marcus Rashford, Anthony Martial and Mason Greenwood all failed to create a single chance against Sheffield United.

Anthony Martial, on the other hand, was nothing but excess baggage for Man United as he could manage only 54 touches during the whole 90 minutes on the pitch.
The 25-year-old has shown his brilliance in patches during his time in England but if Man United need to win the Premier League then he will have to start performing week in and week out.
Next up, Manchester United take on Arsenal away from home in the EPL and it will not be a surprise if Solskjaer chooses to bench Anthony Martial on Saturday and use Edinson Cavani up front.
