Anthony Martial wanted by West Ham United Man United

Man United forward Anthony Martial had another poor season at the club and maybe it’s time for the club to finally cash in on him and use that money to bring in a world-class centre-forward.

According to a report by Spanish outlet Fichajes, Premier League rivals Tottenham Hotspur are suddenly said to be interested in signing Martial this summer as they fear they could lose Harry Kane.

The report claims: “Manchester United itself has received an offer from one of its direct rivals, Tottenham.

“Spurs intend to take advantage of the footballer’s physical downturn to take him at a reasonable price and thus strengthen their forward, in which Harry Kane seems more outside than inside.

“Londoners are willing to pay up to € 35 million, a figure United considers insufficient. The Red Devils would start negotiating at 40, as he was the team’s top scorer last season and he is only 25 years old.”

Is Anthony Martial heading to Spurs?

Coincidentally, Man United are one of the clubs being linked with Harry Kane and now with Spurs interested in Martial, there’s a big chance that Kane could be heading to Old Trafford in the coming months.

With Cavani playing so brilliantly, the Frenchman is of no use to Ole Gunnar Solskjaer so it will make perfect sense for Man United to use him as part of the deal to sign Harry Kane from Spurs.

According to reports, Spurs want more than 120 million pounds for Kane and maybe Manchester United could use Anthony Martial as leverage and get a hefty discount.

The 25-year-old has been a major flop at Man United ever since his arrival in 2015 and this season he has scored only 7 goals and provided 9 assists in 36 appearances across all competitions.

Many Man United fans will love to see Anthony Martial heading out this summer and if the club can get Harry Kane in return then it will be icing on the cake.
