Chelsea manager Thomas Tuchel has made it clear that he is more than willing to offer Conor Gallagher and Armando Broja a chance to book their place in the first-team squad next season.
Gallagher is currently with Palace while Broja is at St Mary’s and both of them have done remarkably well this season. Both the clubs have shown interest in re-signing the players on loan deals and recently, Palace’s chairman Steve Parish had publicly admitted that they want to bring back Connor Gallagher.
Parish had said, as per 90Min: “Conor’s future and that decision lies not with us but with him and Chelsea. They’re the people that have to decide.
“Once they decide what their choice is, they know where we are and what we want. We’re not going to pretend any different but we’ve got to respect them as a football club because he’s their player.”
Southampton have the same ideas regarding Armando Broja and even Arsenal have been linked with a move for the Chelsea forward.
There have been hints that Chelsea could send both of them out next season as well but Thomas Tuchel has made it clear that Broja and Gallagher will get a fair chance to prove themselves.
“They will come back, for sure, because they are our players,” the boss told the press on Wednesday. “When we [send] them on loan, we do this for them but also for us, to have better players, more experienced players back.
“They are our players and I want to have them in pre-season and in pre-season we will decide what’s going on. It’s heavily linked to them…how they integrate and what they do and what our ideas are for them and what they want to reach.
Thomas Tuchel says 20-year-old Armando Broja and 22-year-old Conor Gallagher will return to Chelsea and be given the chance to prove themselves this summer. While on loan this season:

“And it’s heavily linked to our sanctions and the situation around the club. It’s too early to predict the future for them and their role for the whole season, but they will be back in pre-season that’s for sure.”
Will Broja and Connor Gallagher remain at Chelsea next season?
Armando Broja has replaced Adam Armstrong in the Saints forward line this season but the youngster has been blowing hot and cold during the second half of the campaign. Connor Gallagher, on the other hand, has been one of the key players for Palace this season and it’s just fair that he gets a shot at the Chelsea first-team squad.

Under normal circumstances, it will be really hard for Broja to break into the first team but the likes of Lukaku and Timo Werner have been massive failures this season so there’s a big possibility that the 20-year-old is given a chance to showcase his talent.
If the pair end up having a good pre-season then Chelsea won’t send them out on loan and that’s bad news for Crystal Palace, Southampton and also Arsenal.
The Gunners’ link has died down in the previous few months as Mikel Arteta has shifted his focus to players like Gabriel Jesus and Darwin Nunez but Palace and Southampton are really eager to bring them back on loan for one more season.
If they want to further their career then both Connor Gallagher and Armando Broja need to go out next season and get more experience but we think the lure of playing for the Chelsea first-team will be too tough to resist.
