Chelsea still remain undecided about the future of Armando Broja and the list of his suitors are increasing with each passing day.

According to Gazzetta dello Sport, Serie A side Atalanta are the latest club who have shown an interest in signing the forward. One of Luis Muriel or Duvan Zapata will be leaving in the summer and the Italians view Broja as an ideal replacement.

The forward spent the 2021/22 season on loan at Southampton and he managed to grab a lot of attention with his performances. He might have scored only six league goals for the Saints but he has all the qualities to become a top centre-forward.

Southampton are obviously interested in taking him back but apart from them, West Ham United and Everton have also been linked with the 20-year-old.

Moyes wants Armando Broja as the strike partner for Michail Antonio while Frank Lampard is eyeing him as a replacement for Richarlison.

The pressure was already on Chelsea with so many clubs waiting for their decision and now Atlanta’s entry has made things a lot more complicated.

Where will Armando Broja be playing next season?

Firstly, Thomas Tuchel will have to decide what he wants to do with Armando Broja.

Does he let him move out on yet another loan spell, does he sell him permanently or does he keep faith in him and use him next season?

If the Blues boss opts for either of the first two options then Armando Broja will have no shortage of takers and Atalanta are hoping their good relationship with Chelsea will help them move up the pecking order.

However, the Albanian international has spent only one season outside of England(when he was on loan with Vitesse) so he is more likely to be interested in staying in England.

With so many EPL sides keen to bring him on board, the 20-year-old will not take the risk of joining the Serie A and starting from scratch.

At Everton and West Ham United, he will have to prove his worth to get regular starts but the Saints can very well offer him a regular spot in the first XI.

Now, Armando Broja will have to decide what he wishes to do next season.
