If you ever wish to understand how hard and stressful a transfer window can be, just ask Arsene Wenger about it. The French coach is having one of the most torrid transfer windows of his managerial career. On one hand, he is desperately trying to hold on Alexis Sanchez and on the other hand he is also trying to find a replacement. But as of this date none of it looks to be working.

According to the latest reports coming out of England, AS Monaco have rejected a third bid made by Arsenal for their midfielder Thomas Lemar. The bid was supposedly in the region of £50 million. But it was swiftly rejected by the French club keeping true to what they said last week – ‘essential players will not be sold.’

Initially, it looked as if Arsenal were making a fair bit of progress in the Lemar deal but Monaco have been losing a whole lot of talented players during this summer – one after the other.

And now with Kylian Mbappe also on the verge of joining Real Madrid, Monaco have decided to hold on to what is left in their pool talent.
