Arsenal currently have a number of defenders who are recovering from injuries but as per reports almost all of them will be back before November.

The first injured player is right-back Hector Bellerin who picked up a nasty knee injury last season and since then the Spaniard has missed every game for the Gunners.

Arsenal managed to sign left-back Kieran Tierney from Celtic FC this summer but the youngster has been recovering from hernia surgery and he is yet to feature for his new side this campaign.

Rob Holding has also been out since last season but the defender has made full recovery and it is now just about getting back the match fitness for the 23-year-old.

And according to Football London senior writer James Benge, the trio is making rapid progress and should be available for selection pretty soon.

“It’s good news all round. Rob Holding has been progressing well with the Under-23s and has been training with the first team since pre-season,” Benge wrote.

“He is expected to feature at some stage in September when the midweek fixtures begin in earnest.

“Hector Bellerin and Kieran Tierney are expected back in training this month as well, both have been recovering rather swiftly.

“The latter in particular was ahead of schedule in his comeback.

“All three will be given time and of course they have had lengthy spells on the sideline so it may be a while before they’re back to their best.

“But it is certainly good news to have them around.”

VERDICT:

The return of the trio will surely be a huge boost for Unai Emery and as per the latest updates, Kieran Tierney and Hector Bellerin will start full training towards the end of this month.

This means that they should make a comeback to the first XI in October.

And as for Rob Holding, the centre-back has already featured in two Premier League 2 matches for the Gunners and many believe he could make a comeback for the Watford vs Arsenal match.
