Premier League side Arsenal have made really good progress in terms of signing 22-year-old Mykhaylo Mudryk according to reports by Ukrainian outlet SportArena.

The Gunners have been wanting to sign the winger for some time but Shakhtar had been holding firm up until now. However, as per the latest reports, Shakhtar are finally starting to crack which is a great sign for Arsenal.

The two parties have not been able to agree on a valuation for the youngster and so far, the North London side have seen at least two bids being rejected.

Mykhaylo Mudryk has been one of the standout players for Shakhtar this season and his performances in the Champions League have caught the attention of several big European clubs.

He scored 10 goals and assisted another nine across all competitions this campaign for the Ukrainian side.

Arsenal and Shakhtar Donetsk are continuing negotiations but as per the latest gossip, both sides are very close to agreeing on a transfer fee and right now, there’s only one final obstacle for Mikel Arteta’s team.

The Premier League side wants the transfer fee to comprise at least 30% bonuses but Shakhtar want bonuses to be a maximum of 20%. This is the major point of discussion right now but we don’t think such a big transfer is going to fail because of a trivial bonus matter.

Both sides should be able to sort this one out promptly but as of now, Mudryk is travelling to Turkey for their mid-season training camp.

This means that the negotiations are yet to reach the final stages but given how precise Arsenal have been in the market recently, we expect them to close this one within the next week.
