Arsenal manager Unai Emery has chosen to make some tough calls ever since he took charge of the club from Arsene Wenger.

Unai Emery released Jack Wilshere during the summer transfer window and once again the club are expected to let go of a number of players who are out of contract at the end of the season.

Amongst these players are Aaron Ramsey and Danny Welbeck.

Welbeck was expected to get a new deal but once he sustained a long-term ankle injury, it is being believed that the manager has pulled the plug on a new deal and the club will let him go next summer.

Aaron Ramsey too was expected to sign a new deal at the club despite some heavy negotiations with the management but a couple of months ago, Unai Emery had told the club not to give the midfielder a contract extension.

This means Aaron Ramsey too like Danny Welbeck will leave the club next summer and ow reports are claiming that Unai Emery made these tough decision because he wanted to follow a Wenger like policy.

Despite bringing in a number of new signings during the summer, Unai Emery still believes that the Gunners academy players have huge potential and need to get more game time.

And if the likes of Aaron Ramsey and Welbeck were to stick around then youngsters like Eddie Smith Rowe and Reiss Nelson will not get a chance to show their talents.

Hence the manager had told the club not to provide new deals to both Ramsey and Welbeck.

While the exit of Welbeck is a surety but Aaron Ramsey still has an outside chance of staying at the club especially after the good form he has shown during the recent weeks.
