Arsenal overcame the tough fight form Huddersfield as they beat the Terriers 1-0 at home.

The Gunners were expected an easy three points from the match but it was an 83rd minute Lucas Torriera goal that actually sealed the win.

The three points meant the Gunners once again stretched their unbeaten run but even before this match kicked off, one Arsenal player made sure to rub it into Spurs as the Unai Emery’s side conquered the North London Derby.

The player we are talking about is defender Laurent Koscielny who returned back to the matchday squad after a long injury lay-off.

Koscielny talking in the matchday programme for Saturday made sure to give some stick to Eric Dier for his controversial celebration during the North London Derby.

Eric Dier after scoring the game in that game went over to the Arsenal fans and put his fingers on his lips as if to say – “Keep quiet.”

This obviously did not go down well with the Arsenal players who got into a tussle with their counterparts on the touchline.

The Gunners eventually managed to come out as 4-2 winners in that game and now Laurent Koscielny has chosen to take a dig at Eric Dier.

Talking in the match-day programme, Laurent Koscielny said:

“I was watching from the stands and I was calm and relaxed, convinced we would have too much for Tottenham. And we did,

“On the pitch, we didn’t panic either.

“You could tell the boys were sure of their ability and that they could still win it.

“We played with intensity, with guts, with determination and a lot of belief.

“We showed how strong mentally we are as well – You don’t come to our home and tell us what to do.

“The Emirates is our home and we rule there.

“We showed them how much we wanted to win.”

After that win over Spurs in the North London Derby, Arsenal did lose points against Manchester United in midweek but the Gunners have now bounced back with the win over the Terriers.
