Arsenal have won both their games of the new season and next up they take on Liverpool at Anfield on Saturday.

The Gunners along with Liverpool are the only two sides who have managed to pick up all six points during their first two games of the season but there is a huge chance that Emery might have to suffer his first defeat of the campaign next weekend.

Liverpool are not only a better side than Arsenal on paper but the North London club are also expected to miss a few key players going into this high-profile encounter.

Arsenal news vs Liverpool:

Sokratis and David Luiz started in central defence vs Burnley at home while Callum Chambers started on the bench.

And we believe Unai Emery will stick to the same choices vs Liverpool next weekend.

Rob Holding is continuing his on-field rehabilitation and is now participating in full training with the first team but he is expected to be out for a couple of more weeks.

Kieran Tierney is recovering from hernia surgery which means Sead Kolasinac could start at left-back next weekend while Maitland Niles remains on the bench.

Nacho Monreal will keep his place at right-back since Hector Bellerin is out with an injury.

Granit Xhaka did not make it to the matchday squad vs Burnley due to a lower back injury but there is a huge chance that he will be fit before the trip to Anfield which means that the Swiss international should start in midfield alongside Matteo Guendouzi.

Dani Ceballos had a MOTM performance this past weekend and the loanee is sure to keep his place in the first XI.

Mesut Ozil is yet to feature for the Gunners this season and vs Liverpool to the German is not expected to get a call-up. A place on the bench might be the best thing he gets due to the lack of match fitness.

Nicolas Pepe might be handed his first start since joining for Arsenal replacing Nelson on the wings while Lacazette and Aubameyang will keep their place in the front line.

Lucas Torriera came off the bench vs Burnley last weekend and the Urguyuan is likely to do the same next weekend too when Arsenal visit Liverpool.
