Arsenal players ratings:

Cech: 7.5/10

Cech was not requied for most of the match. But he did make a few saves and interception whenever he was called upon. He did pull out a brilliant save from Antony Martial’s shot in the 9th minute of the match. He also denied Wayne Rooney from close range.

Holding: 5.5/10

Was good thorughout the match. But made one defence error that almost cost Arsenal a goal. His shot pass was pounced upon by Rooney who was eventually denied by Cech.

Koscielny: 6.5/10

Had a good game defensively. Despite holding a high line did not allow either Martial or Rashford to run into the open space behind him.

Monreal: 6.5/10

Was decent enough in defence and also made some good forward runs.

Chamberlain: 7.5/10

Put in a brilliant cross thorugh which Danny Welbeck scored the second goal for Arsenal on the night.

Xhaka: 7.5/10

Xhaka was a doubt for this match and was only allowed to play after he passed a late fitness test. He scored the first goal of Arsenal which was a long ranger. Even though the ball took a wicked deflection on the way towards goal but it was still full marks to Xhaka for being bold.

Ramsey: 8/10

Ramsey was the player who lightened up the Arsenal attack in the first half. He made some delicious runs through the back of United’s defence. And each time it looked as if Arsenal would score. In the second half his runs were a lot limited, simply cause Mourinho had handed Carrick the job to man mark Ramsey.

Gibbs: 6.5/10

Provided good support to the likes of Sanchez and Ozil.

Ozil: 7/10

Ozil put in some delightful balls into the box. But nothng very little while coming back and help his team out defensively.

Sanchez: 7.5/10

Sanchez has another brilliant day at the office. He work ethic was comendable all throughout the match. Sanchez played with the same energy all right until the final whistle.

Welbeck: 7.5/10

Danny Welbeck was playing as the lone striker in the match. And he did very well to keep the United defenders busy till the moment he was taken off. The Ex-United players also scored the second goal for Arsenal with a fine header.
