Arsenal sacked Unai Emery last week but still, their fate didn’t change as they were held to a 2-2 draw by Norwich City at Carrow Road.

And next up, Freddie Ljungberg’s side welcomes Brighton at home in the Premier League.

The Gunners have failed to pick up a win in their last five league matches and out of these five, four have ended in draws against much weaker oppositions.

Against Brighton, they should be able to pick up an easy win since the away side have suffered defeats in their last three league matches but nowadays it is really hard to predict anything with this Arsenal side.

Arsenal team news vs Brighton:

David Luiz and Shkodran Mustafi started in central defence for Ljungberg during the weekend and it looks like the pair will keep their place in the starting XI vs Brighton.

Kieran Tierney remained an unused sub vs the Canaries but the youngster is expected to replace Sead Kolasinac at left-back while Hector Bellerin should return to his right-back role if he is fully fit.

Matteo Guendouzi and Granit Xhaka have been the first choice midfield pairing for the interim coach but there are rumours that Ljungberg could opt to hand Lucas Torreira a start since the South American has seen very little game time this season.

Dani Ceballos remains a long-term absentee and the Spaniard is only expected to return back to training towards the end of this month meaning it should be Mesut Ozil who plays in the playmaker’s role vs Brighton.

But there’s also a chance that Ljungberg opts to use Willock in the playmaker’s role meaning the German will move back to the bench.

Nicolas Pepe surprisingly remained an unused substitute vs Norwich during the weekend and certainly, there were some raised eyebrows about this decision.

But since Arsenal will be playing at home, the coach will hopefully hand Pepe a start meaning Aubameyang will move to the left flank as Lacazette plays upfront.

Ljungberg did not make any radical changes to the first XI during his first game in charge but surely he has to tinker something in order to help Arsenal regain that oomph surrounding their attacking play.

Arsenal’s predicted line-up vs Brighton:

Startin XI: Bernd Leno; Mustafi, David Luiz, Tierney, Hector Bellerin; Granit Xhaka, Guendouzi/Torreira, Willock/Ozil; Aubameyang, Lacazette, Nicolas Pepe.
